Kochi IPL team doesn't want Ganguly!

Sorry, Sourav Ganguly for making you little nervous today!! IPL Kochi team hasn't showed up any signal to take Ganguly as team member yet. This is a very sad news for all Kolkata cricket fans who loves dada(Ganguly).

Apart from Kapil Dev the only captain to have led India to a World Cup final, Sourav Ganguly recently said that from the Kochi franchise he has not received any offer. As per reports by a few sections of the media, Ganguly also said that he don't know much of Kochi and not even heard anything regarding the offer. However, it is not clear until now that Kochi IPL team wants Ganguly or not.
Kochi IPL team doesn't want Ganguly!

The most successful previous India captain, Sourav Ganguly failed to find any takers from the 10 franchises in the auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 4 earlier this month. It shocked everyone when Ganguly, who captained Shah Rukh Khan-owned Kolkata Knight Riders for two seasons, was the first unsold player in the auction took place in Bangalore on January 8 and 9. Along with the West Indian legend Brian Lara, Mumbai captain Wasim Jaffer, Punjab pacer VRV Singh and few others, Ganguly who had a base price of $400000 was on the unsold list. If all the 10 franchises have no objection to the move, then again Ganguly can be part of the IPL by an open bidding process as per the IPL rules.

Ganguly refused to comment on the IPL 4 auction while speaking at the launch of a Fever 104 FM programme and he just said, "I don't want to talk about the IPL right now." When asked concerning his future plans about the IPL, Ganguly told reporters, "Right now I'm still unsold so I have not given it any thought." He further told that Sachin Tendulkar deserves to receive the Bharat Ratna.

There were loads of ups and downs for Ganguly but he said that he has no regrets. Later the Knight Riders management had floated the thought to bid Ganguly a probable role as team mentor but the previous icon player said he was uninformed of any developments. Also according to the media reports, other teams were contacted by the Kochi IPL to obtain a no-objection certificate (NOC) from them to rope in the left-hander.
Ganguly recommends the fans to stand by the Mahendra Sing Dhoni and his men in wins and yet in losses as the major cricketing extravaganza, World Cup is few days away in the subcontinent and the temperature soaring high in relation to India's prospects. He even alleged that Indian selectors should have choose for a second wicket-keeper and medium-pacer Sreesanth as all team will be coming with two wicketkeepers.
