DLF India Premier league’s team ‘Kolkata Knight Rider’ is ready to play the fourth season of IPL with their best squad. Kolkata Knight Rider is owned by Bollywood celebrity Shahrukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta. Indian cricket team best player, Gautam Gambhir serves as the captain of the ‘Kolkata Knight Rider’, who got highest bidding of 2.4 million USD in IPL 4 auction. After losing last three edition of IPL, this time owner of the team has changed the team by purchasing cricket world's best players at very high cost.
Kolkata Knight Rider is based in Kolkata and Eden Gardens is home ground of the team. Sourav Ganguly led Kolkata Knight Rider in IPL from 2008 to 2010, but due to his poor performance, Shahrukh Khan has not included him in team for IPL 4. KKR has given this wonderful opportunity to Gautam Gambhir to show his knowledge about how to lead team on the ground. KKR might be better than the earlier seasons. He has also got the chance to play Indian Under-19 team for a tri-series in Sri Lanka, where he has taken the highest wicket (Eight wickets) by giving 69 runs in 31.1 over and become third-highest wicket-taker.
